Books, Binges & Blogs: April 2018 Edition
It's hard to believe we're a quarter of the way through 2018 already. Even harder to believe? I've had this blog for two years already. If you've been tuning in this whole time, I appreciate you. Click around below to learn about what I'm reading and watching this month!
40 Days to Personal Revolution
This book accompanies a program created by Baron Baptiste that encompasses daily yoga and meditation, mindful eating, and self-reflection. So far, I haven't actually read a lot of the book, but I've been following the guidelines for yoga, meditation, food intake, and self-reflection and honestly, I feel amazing.
This week I've had two of my strongest practices to date. I feel strong, powerful, and more patient. And, I did my first wheel! And three more after that! And it's only week one!
Zumbo's Just Desserts
Well, I'm officially obsessed with this show! I desperately wish there was a second season. Zumbo's Just Desserts is a Netflix Original based in Australia. I've never seen The Great British Baking Show (though I'm going to start once I finish this current binge) but I've heard the two shows are similar.
Zumbo's Just Desserts follows 12 bakers through a tournament-type challenge, during which the bakers are tasked with some of the most incredible dessert tasks I've ever seen.
Twitter Business Outlook
I never expected Twitter to have a blog, and I certainly never expected it'd be something I enjoy. Allow me to eat my words. Twitter Business Outlook is actually pretty great. Almost every article is user-generated, meaning it's been written by a fellow Twitter user. I stumbled upon the blog while searching for content to share across Olive & Company's channels, and I stuck around for awhile. Check it out here.
Better yet, wait for Olive & Co. to tweet out a link—follow us @oliveandco.
That's it for this month! If you have a recommendation for me, drop it in the comments below! 👇🏼
