MN STATE PALS
The MN Partnerships Across Library Systems website houses information for all libraries across the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system. Until 2017, PALS hadn’t updated its messaging approach, website design, or user experience.
Alongside a team of strategists, designers, and developers, I worked to uncover the problems the PALS website needed to solve for its users. I created a messaging approach to inspire trust in those who traffic the site, while taking the PALS team out of the dark ages and into the modern world with a fresh, modern web design.
Preferred Direct, a print, direct mail, and digital marketing company, hadn’t updated its messaging or its website since the very beginning. It was time for a refresh, but help was needed to tell their story.
I worked with the team at Preferred Direct to understand their service offering and differentiators. My team and I worked to bring the Preferred Direct story to life through compelling copy, engaging imagery, and a modern, bold color scheme.
CARPENTERS TRAINING INSTITUTE
As the clock struck midnight and we welcomed 2019, Carpenters Training Institute still didn’t have an online presence. They needed a website to house information about their apprenticeship programs — and, more importantly, they wanted to encourage a diverse and underrepresented population to apply to their training programs.
Our goal was to tell the Carpenters Training Institute story through a modern, user-focused web design and strategic calls to action. CTI’s primary audience includes high school students and young adults looking for an alternative to college. To engage this audience, I focused on writing engaging and easy-to-understand copy.
