I worked with the team at Preferred Direct to understand its service offering and unique differentiators. My team and I worked to bring the Preferred Direct story to life through compelling copy, engaging imagery, and a bold, modern color scheme.
MN STATE PALS
The MN Partnerships Across Library Systems website houses information for all libraries across the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system. Until 2017, PALS hadn’t updated its messaging approach, website design, or user experience.
Alongside a team of strategists, designers, and developers, I helped uncover the problems the PALS site needs to solve for its users. Then, I developed a messaging approach to inspire trust in visitors and bring PALS into the modern age with a fresh new web design.
CARPENTERS TRAINING INSTITUTE
Even in 2019, Carpenters Training Institute — a renowned trades school in MN — still didn’t have an online presence. The school needed a website and updated messaging to encourage diverse and underrepresented populations to apply for its programs.
Our goal was to tell the Carpenters Training Institute story through a modern, user-focused web design and strategic calls to action. I focused on simple, digestible language to engage the Institute’s primarily high-school aged audience.
